Lemcke, Martha W. (nee: Eichholz) passed peacefully away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 after a brief illness. She will be fondly remembered by many as Martie, Aunt Martie, Gram, Mahkie and by few, Mom. Predeacesed in death by her husband and the love of her life, Gerald A. (Chuckie) Lemcke. She is survived by Daughters, Lynette (Tom), Geri (Geraldine) and Marnie (Marlene) Lemcke. Brother Daniel E. Eichholz, Nephew Gerhard (Junay) Eichholz and Sister In-Law Toni (Joseph)Mahig. Grandchild Matthew (Tina), Great-Grand Children Chance (Azucena) Reynolds, Mason (Leah) Reynolds, Ava, Rylee and Asher Reynolds. Great-Niece Lucille Miller and great-nephews Zachary and Joshua Miller. Beloved Dear Friends Dori, Michael, Mikenzie and Mikaela Juskalian, Chie, Jun, Saki and Juri Yokohama and JoJo and Rachael Okoumba. Two estranged daughters, one estranged son, three estranged grandchildren and one estranged great-grandchild. She was a civic minded person and free-thinking individual. She loved the people that were close and mattered in her life. She was self-employed for most of her adult life as a seamstress and costume designer of all genres and as a promotional facilitator for events and public gatherings, Past President of the Brockport Merchants Association, Presbyterian Foundation of Genesee Valley Endowment Facilitator which encompassed 27 churches, she was very involved in Planning and Building of Route 531, Habitat for Humanity, she worked for the Federal Government as an economic census taker with a focus on civic economics (incarceration, medical, education, employment and disability). Her true passions were gardening, bird watching, cooking and baking, taking care of the three youngest great-grandchildren, her cat Sweetie and her cavalier puppy Dixie. Her cup was always half-full and would always make it a point to decorate according to the season. She will be missed by many and remembered by many, just because of the person she was. At the request of the family make a donation to your favorite cause in Martie's name.
