John W. Good September 15, 2022 John “Jack” Good, 79, of Liverpool passed away on September 15th at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born on April 12, 1943 in Auburn, NY to the late Louis and Joan Good. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Good. Jack is survived by his children Michelle (Michael) Lamson, Scott (Colleen) Good , and Kristie (Neil) Pecka; grandchildren Alexis (Johnathan) Ireton, Natalie, Bella, Abbie, Matthew, Michael, Anthony, and Evan; several nieces and nephews. Jack graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1960. He served in the Army from 1968-1970 as a chemical specialist. He was employed by Strathmore Products, first in sales and then as a lab director. Jack was very proud of a patent he and the late Rufus Kerry held for solvent-based thermal paint. In addition to spending time with his family, Jack loved to golf, vacation in Myrtle Beach, and participate in weekly trivia nights. He was a member of the Pastime Club in Syracuse for many years. Jack was a loving father and dedicated grandparent who could always be counted on to attend ball games and concerts. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24th at the Home Team Pub in Liverpool from 6-9 pm. Family and friends are invited to stop by to share a memory or two. Memorial donations can be sent to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
