Joan Strassner

Joan Orman Strassner, a longtime resident of both Scio and Kendall, N.Y., passed away peacefully on November 10, 2019 from complications of Parkinson's Disease in Port Charlotte, Fla.


Joan is survived by her four children, Lori Rath, Eric Rath, Doug Rath and Jon (Tracey) Rath and two daughters, Rose Strassner (De) and Deborah (Ted) Walczak; Sisters Gail Orman and Beverly Armstrong; brother Richard (Mary) Orman; Grandsons Douglas A. Rath and Joe Kruppenbacher; Four great-grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Strassner, her parents, Walter and Lois Orman and daughter, Kathleen Strassner.


Calling hours will be Friday, May 14th 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at:

Fowlers Funeral Home 340 West Ave., Brockport, NY, 14420 where masks are required and social distancing protocols will be followed.



Gravesite Burial at Lakeside Cemetery, Moscow Rd., Hamlin, NY, 14464 Saturday, May 15th 2021 at 10:30am.



A Celebration of Life immediately following Gravesite burial May 15, 2021, will be held at the VFW, Lake Road, Hamlin, NY 14464.
