Isabelle Rose Lupisella passed away suddenly on Friday May 3, 2024, at 82 years old. She was born on July 28, 1941. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Isabelle Collins and is survived by her husband Guy, sister Carol (John), her children Carol, John (Vickie), Richard (Christine), Robert (Jeanine), James (Erin) Lupisella, Grandchildren, Kiya, Igor, Max, Ben, Jack, Judah (Gabriella), Jordan (Elizabeth), Brian, Elise, Caroline, Joe (Shelby), Emma, Luke and great-grandchildren Aria, Asher, and Elsie.
She spent her early childhood in the Bronx attending St. Ann School. She moved to Roslyn Heights when she was a teenager and graduated from Hempstead High School in 1959. Izzy earned a degree in childhood education at Brockport State where she met her future husband Guy. They were married in Niagara Falls on December 30th, 1961 and settled in Brockport where they raised five children.
Izzy had many interests. She was an avid reader, loved her gardens, bird watching, and traveling but what she loved most was spending time with her family. Both Guy and Izzy attended their grandchildren's wrestling matches, football, soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball and hockey games, dance recitals, music concerts and school plays. Throughout her entire life she contributed significant time and effort raising money for several charities, most notably the last 30 years serving as a captain for Meals on Wheels of Clarkson. After Guy's retirement in 1993 they traveled extensively throughout the world together, she especially loved visiting the Great pyramids, the Greek Islands, the Vatican, Florence, Venice and most importantly, the Holy Land.
She was a parishioner at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport and served in The Legion of Mary during Father John Phillips pastorship. She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
